The Tennessee Titans are projected to have an elite offensive line in 2019.
INDIANAPOLIS, IN – NOVEMBER 26: Taylor Lewan /

1. Taylor Lewan

Left tackle Taylor Lewan is a sight for sore eyes. With a four-game suspension officially behind him, the Titans’ fearless leader can help take the O-Line to the next level.

Let’s give credit where credit is due. Swing tackle Dennis Kelly has been more than serviceable in Lewan’s absence. Kelly posted an overall rating of 67.1 through four weeks, per Pro Football Focus. On film, Kelly excelled in pass protection — minus an iffy Week 1 — and was credited with only one sack.

His run blocking did the job at times, but the drop-off between Lewan and Kelly was more than noticeable. Lewan should instantly upgrade zone left running plays and help spring running back Derrick Henry to the boundary.

The biggest thing Lewan gives the Titans is freedom. Head Coach Mike Vrabel can leave Lewan out on an island against anyone, including Buffalo Bills defensive end Jerry Hughes, in Week 5. This will take a load off of tight end Delanie Walker and wide receiver Adam Humphries, who will no longer need to chip EDGE rushers on the way to their routes. At least not on the left side.
