Potential Titans letdown after a great game:

One of the biggest concerns that come to mind anytime the Titans are coming off a big win is a big letdown.

Tennessee is coming off of their biggest win of the season since their blowout win over the Browns in week one.

However, a prime example of Tennessee having a letdown is week two this season when the Titans hosted the Colts for their home-opener and lost by two points. Tennessee followed that up with another letdown loss to Jacksonville in week three. Now the Titans have another big win and if history is any indication they are set for another letdown, which is a big concern.

Last season, Tennessee hosted the would-be Super Bowl champion New England Patriots and won 34-10.  The very next week, the Titans traveled to Indianapolis to get blown out by the Colts, 38-10.

It’s unclear why this continues to be a trend for Tennessee but it seems like every time the Titans come off a big win, they tend to fall short against their next opponent.

The Buffalo Bills are one of those teams that have been successful in beating Tennessee after a big win. Last season, the Bills beat the Titans 13-12 after Tennessee came from behind to defeat the then reigning Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles in overtime.

Now saying all of this doesn’t mean that Tennessee will come back home and lay an egg against Buffalo, but if history repeats itself the Bills would be the perfect team to once again upset Tennessee after a big win.
