“MMCNB”

It’s hard to give the nod to just one member of the Titans secondary, so we’re giving it to all of them. Cornerbacks Malcolm Butler, Logan Ryan and Adoree’ Jackson, as well as safeties Kenny Vaccaro and Kevin Byard, totaled 31 tackles (two for loss) and two passes defensed.

Granted, Matt Ryan and the Falcons did compile 397 passing yards, however Ryan averaged just 7.5 yards per completion and needed 53 throws to get there thanks to a non-existent running game.

Most importantly, “MMCNB” held star wideout Julio Jones to just 52 receiving yards and forced other Falcons pass-catchers to try and beat the Titans through the air. You couldn’t ask for much more than that from this group.

The Titans secondary continues to play like an elite unit, and that was on full display against a talented passing attack in Atlanta. Through four games, there’s no question this group has been the most consistent part of the Titans’ roster.
