Corey Davis

On a day where Brown could have completely taken the title of No. 1 receiver from Corey Davis, the former No. 5 overall pick showed he wasn’t ready to relinquish that title just yet. Davis stepped up in a big way on Sunday, finishing with five catches for 91 yards and a score.

The Titans got Davis involved early and he was the team’s most consistent receiver after the first quarter.

Davis got his first touchdown of the year on what was a nice pass from Mariota. Davis reeled in the catch, turned up field, and finished off the play for the Titans’ third touchdown of the game.

The Western Michigan product did have a bad drop in this one and has dealt with drops so far this season, but he came up big for the Titans in Week 4 and had more yards in one game than he had combined in the previous three.

The Titans badly needed their receivers to get going, and Davis was one half of that solution on Sunday.
