Washington Commanders. 29. team. 58. . . Previous: 28th

The Washington Redskins have some of my favorite players on the roster. Guys like Brandon Scherff, Ryan Kerrigan, Terry McLaurin, Jonathan Allen, Montez Sweat, and others.

However, the product on the field doesn’t live up to the standard that the talent should set.

It looks like the Redskins have finally made the switch to rookie QB Dwayne Haskins, so that will be interesting to watch going forward. The connection between he and the aforementioned Terry McLaurin should be potent when the receiver is healthy.

Until then, the Redskins need to find a way to have their best players make big plays, and find a way to maximize Adrian Peterson like they did a year ago. If they can’t then this is going to be a long season for Washington and with a rookie QB in place, the questions are all going to start landing at the feet of current Head Coach Jay Gruden.
