. . Previous: 30th. Denver Broncos. 30. team. 45

I feel like Tyra Banks watching the Denver Broncos, I was rooting for you!

The Broncos were so close to a win vs the Chicago Bears in Week 2 and they were so close to a win today, but for whatever reason they seem to have become allergic to winning.

Teams that find ways to lose games late are worse than teams that come up short in comeback attempts. I don’t know if it is a coaching thing, or the idea that Joe Flacco was supposed to be a bridge QB and that no one expected them to win has created a lack of urgency.

No matter what is the cause, the problem is that the Broncos were at home and finally looked like the defense they were supposed to be…and still shot themselves in the foot with bad defensive play calls and penalties that ultimately cost them the game.

The pieces seem to be there, but ultimately I don’t know if they have the coaching staff to put it all together.
