The L.A. Rams have always won despite Jared Goff and today they couldn’t quite do that after his trio of interceptions.

Sean McVay’s ability to read off plays to Goff and tell him where to throw the ball has always seemed both incredibly impressive and extremely unfair (because the Titans don’t have a McVay) but today it wasn’t enough.

A big reason why it wasn’t enough is because the defense allowed the Tampa Bay Bucs to run all over them. While it is true that 14 points can be put directly on the offensive miscues, the Rams defense has to be better than that if they are expecting to matchup with the likes of New England and Kansas City.

Disappointing loss for the Rams who need to regroup, let’s see if this is the beginning of a spiral for Goff or if he bounces back.
