. . Previous: 18th. Los Angeles Chargers. 15. team. 13

Am I giving the Chargers too much credit? They lost to the Houston Texans and Detroit Lions who both lost this weekend and their wins are in overtime against the Indianapolis Colts and then this win against the Miami Dolphins.

I am going to stick with 15 for the Chargers for now, but this may be a little generous. It does help their argument that they are doing all this while banged up across the board and while missing Darwin James and Melvin Gordon.

The Chargers gave the Miami Dolphins their first lead of the season, but in the end they left no doubt as to who was supposed to win that game.

Their schedule eases up over the next two weeks with the Denver Broncos and Pittsburgh Steelers at home, but then they face the Tennessee Titans in Nashville which has not been kind to visitors in recent years.

They need to rack up wins now before taking on that task because after the Titans they also have to face the Bears, Packers, Raiders, and Chiefs, making for a daunting 5-week stretch.
