The Tennessee Titans have made it their duty to continuously make me the fool. I cannot guess what they will do, or won’t do, to save my life. With that being said, I’m hoping that my prediction this week will yet again fall short of glory. Prove me wrong, boys.

I’ve got the Titans losing to the dirty birds in Atlanta. Too much offensive firepower from the Falcons will be overwhelming, and Titans’ RB Derrick Henry will get game-scripted out. The Titans will need to rely on QB Marcus Mariota to keep up. Oh, no.

Now, that’s not to say the Titans’ defense can’t transform Atlanta Falcons QB Matt Ryan into a turnover machine, but Ryan is surgical when given time. The good news for the Titans is that the Falcons have two offensive tackles that are really struggling. LT Jake Matthews and rookie RT Kaleb McGary have PFF ratings of 47.2 and 56.4, respectively, per PFF.

The Titans’ pass rush needs to get after it, immediately.

Final score: Falcons 20, Titans 17

Tennessee needs to get things straightened out this week against Atlanta. It’s the last game of Taylor Lewan’s suspension, but Saffold and the o-line need to perform well. Mariota needs to take the next step.

However, I think Atlanta will prevail. There’s way too much talent at receiver for the Falcons and Matt Ryan is playing better than Mariota. I’m going to give the win to the Falcons.

Final score: Atlanta 28 Tennessee 14
