Michael Moraitis (Co-expert)

I want to believe the Tennessee Titans can win this game, which is a contest that many experts don’t give them a chance to. We know how that usually goes for this franchise.

Still, I just don’t have enough faith in this offense. The team is struggling to score points, and it will have to do so against a talented Falcons offense that can put them up in bunches.

Now, that’s not to say that the Titans defense won’t hold their own on Sunday, but can this Titans offense be trusted to score the 20 points minimum this team will need to win?

If the last two weeks tell us anything, it’s that they can’t be trusted to do that. I expect the Falcons to go to Julio Jones early and often, and Matt Ryan to thrive as much as one can against a talented Titans defense overall that just hasn’t mustered up much of a pass-rush since Week 1.

The Titans will continue to struggle in pass protection, and Marcus Mariota will once again draw the ire of Titans fans who want to see him replaced. Per usual, it won’t be his fault entirely, but many out there will ignore that fact and still call for Ryan Tannehill.

I just don’t see this offense fully turning things around until Taylor Lewan finally returns in Week 5.

Final score: Falcons 20, Titans 14
