Atlanta Falcons offense: Julio Jones, WR

Julio Jones is an amazing football and we don’t appreciate how good he is. He is having a Hall of Fame career, but people don’t really pay attention because more successful teams over the past few years have had receivers either close to his statistical output or slightly better.

In fact, I bet you didn’t know that Jones in on pace for over 1,400 yards and 21 TDs right now. Despite being just outside of the bottom-10 in points per game among offenses in the NFL, the Falcons star WR is tied for the most receiving TDs in the NFL with 4.

No one is going to be sleeping on the All Pro on the Titans roster, but this matchup could decide the game for the Titans and Falcons.

It is a long week, so I actually don’t know the coverage that he will draw. However, against Odell Beckham Jr., T.Y. Hilton and D.J. Chark have seen Malcolm Butler one-on-one without much help from the safety.

I would imagine that the Titans will do something a little bit different this week (like using Adoree Jackson and playing Kevin Byard over the top on his side) but the way the Titans play him will dictate the stress put on the rest of the defense.

This is an exciting matchup and one that Titans fans should hope the mini-bye week helped them prepare for.
