Secondary: A

Even without much of a pass-rush the last few weeks, the Titans’ secondary is still doing its thing. Tennessee’s secondary has allowed 189.7 passing yards per game, good enough for the third-fewest in the league after three weeks.

If Adoree Jackson doesn’t muff a punt in Week 3, the Titans secondary holds Gardner Minshew to a far-less impressive stat line with one less touchdown and seven less yards that puts him under 200 for the game.

In Week 1, the Titans secondary made Baker Mayfield look silly, and in Week 2 Jacoby Brissett was held to a pathetic 146 yards passing.

Kevin Byard continues to be the elite safety we all know and love, and Logan Ryan might be in the midst of his best season with two picks and 1.5 sacks. Malcolm Butler has gotten beaten deep on a few plays, but nothing about his 2019 campaign screams trouble just yet.

If the Titans can stop shooting themselves in the foot — we’re looking at you, Adoree’ — this defense has more than enough talent in the secondary and overall to be the best in the league.
