Jurrell Casey is calling the Tennessee Titans’ Week 4 game versus the Atlanta Falcons a “must-win.”

Not that it needed to be said, but Tennessee Titans defensive lineman Jurrell Casey is showing a sense of urgency in calling the Week 4 game against the Atlanta Falcons a “must-win” game.

The Titans are off to a 1-2 start and have been abysmal offensively the past two games. Tennessee will have to fix that in Week 4 or else it could be doomed to a 1-3 start to the 2019 NFL season.

Casey isn’t mincing words. He understands how important this game is for the Titans in order to avoid such a dismal start, according to Paul Kuharsky.

"“To finish out the quarter 1-3 isn’t the way we planned this, not the way we see it. So to finish out the quarter 2-2 to go into the second quarter is going to be good for us. So, we make sure we get this win… it is a must-win because nobody wants to start off the first half of the season like this.”"

While the Titans have been poor offensively to the tune of 24 points scored combined the last two weeks, the defense remains the stalwart of this team.

Tennessee’s defense has allowed just 17.3 points per game, good enough for eighth-best in the NFL. That average could be even less if not for cornerback Adoree’ Jackson handing both the Indianapolis Colts and Jacksonville Jaguars touchdowns in consecutive weeks.

After a quiet Week 1, Casey has totaled 11 tackles (six solo) and one QB hit in his last two games, and was the highest-graded defensive player for the Titans in Week 3.

If there’s one department we’d like to see Casey make more of an impact in, it’s sacks. The Titans failed to record a single sack on Gardner Minshew last Thursday and need to step their game up as a whole in that regard. Casey has yet to record a sack this season.

Of course, as good as the defense has been this season, the offense continues to be the reason this team isn’t succeeding.
