Week 3 ranking: No. 2

The Colts were riding high into their Week 3 showdown with the Falcons on Sunday after a sensational performance by the defense. While the defense wasn’t as sharp against Atlanta, the Colts offense answered the bell in the win.

Jacoby Brissett continues to get better week-to-week, and had his best game of the season in Atlanta, as he threw for over 300 yards for the first time this season and completed 75 percent of his passes. In fact, Brissett outplayed his quarterback counterpart, Matt Ryan.

The only part of this Colts roster that has been in question in the quarterback position. Indy has a load of talent everywhere else, and if Brissett can continue to play like he did on Sunday, this team has a legit shot to not only make the playoffs, but win the division also.

The Colts will host the struggling Oakland Raiders in Week 4 in what should be a matchup that leads to a 3-1 start for Indy based on how we’ve seen them play so far this season. It’s also somewhat of a must-win for Indy, as head coach Frank Reich’s squad follows this up with two tough games against the Kansas City Chiefs and Houston Texans.
