Honorable mention: Jonnu Smith

While I couldn’t quite put him up in the top four, we need to talk about how good Jonnu Smith has been for the Tennessee Titans.

Last year if you told me that two of the best players for the Titans through the first month of the season would have been Jonnu Smith and Daquan Jones, I would have blocked you on Twitter or reported you as spam.

However, I am fully prepared to eat my words because both have been the players that I hoped they would be in 2018.

Specifically, Smith just looks stronger and more confident. Whether he is being asked to block in the run game, run routes or even handle a jet sweep, he has looked like someone worthy of a 3rd round pick.

This offseason people will try to give the Titans a tight end in every mock draft you see that goes past the first round, but like every year you should ignore them. If Smith keeps playing like he is now, I think he, Anthony Firkser and MyCole Pruitt are the future of that position in Nashville whenever that day comes.
