Harold Landry

Tennessee’s 2018 second-round draft pick Harold Landry is not having the season that many thought he would have after a fairly productive rookie season.

In 2018, Landry recorded 44 tackles, 4.5 sacks, and one forced fumble for the Titan defense.

However, this season has not been as productive for Landry so far. Through three games, he only has 11 tackles and one sack. After the season he had in his rookie year, many expected a lot of growth out of the Boston College product, but in his first few games that has yet to been seen.

There is still a lot of games left to play this season but early on his ability to get pressure on the quarterback is less than impressive.

For the Titans to be a team that hopes to make the playoffs, they need to see more pressure from the edge at the outside linebacker position. After all, that is why Tennessee drafted him last year. Landry recorded 100 tackles and 25 sacks while at Boston College.

It’s been a disappointing start to the season for Landry but he has an opportunity to make up for it as the season continues. Still, he needs to improve his pass-rushing.
