3. Los Angeles Rams (3-0)

The Rams got challenged by the Browns on Sunday Night Football in what was an ugly win, but a win nonetheless. Once again the Rams’ stout defense made the biggest difference in this one.

Jared Goff turned the ball over three times in total (two picks, one fumble lost), and the Rams once again didn’t get much from Todd Gurley. Regardless, the Rams overcame a slow start and went back-and-forth with lead changes against the Browns in the second half.

Goff’s second interception gave the Browns the chance to force overtime and the Browns almost took advantage by driving down the field and getting all the way to the Rams’ five yard line. It came down to a fourth-and-goal play for the Browns, but the Rams defense was able to pick off a Baker Mayfield pass to stay undefeated in 2019.

The Rams return home for Week 4 to take on a Buccaneers team that just had its spirit broken by a rookie quarterback’s legendary comeback in Week 3.
