NFL Power Rankings Week 4: Titans in free fall after loss to Jaguars
5. Green Bay Packers (3-0)
The Packers continued to show their defensive prowess in 2019 with another strong showing against the Broncos in Week 3. Hanging to a one-score lead in the third quarter, the Packers shut the Broncos down on their next four drives and added a field goal to secure a 27-16 win.
Green Bay’s offense got off to a fast start, but didn’t finish strong and totaled just 312 yards of total offense. It didn’t matter, though, as the Packers permitted just 310 yards of total offense and forced three Broncos turnovers. If the Packers can put it all together, this team could become one of the more complete in the NFL.
The Packers defense will be tested in Week 4 thanks to a matchup with an Eagles team that is struggling to start the season, but can score points and challenge the Packers through the air. A win over the Eagles and a 4-0 start would solidify the Packers as one of the best teams in the NFC and a serious contender in 2019.
