What did last year teach us?

Everyone talks about how going 0-2 to start the season is a death sentence, and usually they are correct. However, it wasn’t so long ago that several teams started out with records as good or worse than the Tennessee Titans and still made it to the playoffs.

While the start is concerning on the field, don’t forget that at this time last year there were questions about the health of Deshaun Watson and Andrew Luck, the offensive line and special teams were going to doom the Chargers, and the Patriots were done.

It is too early to make sweeping decisions about anything right now. Preaching patience isn’t a cool thing to do, but I will say that there is still more than 80% of the season left.

Based on the schedule right now, the Tennessee Titans still have 11 games left against teams with 1 or fewer wins and they also have a game against the Buffalo Bills whose record may be a little bit deceptive.
