Delanie Walker, Derrick Henry, Corey Davis fantasy outlooks after Week 3
Delanie Walker’s outlook
If there’s one Titans player who might have gotten out of that embarrassing Week 3 loss to Jacksonville unscathed, it was Delanie Walker. The veteran tight end led the team in targets and was tied in receptions, finishing with 13.4 fantasy points (PPR), which was a good night considering Walker got off to a horrid start.
The Titans passing attack is in total dysfunction right now for many reasons, but Walker remains the constant. He’s really the only Titans pass-catcher worth starting in your lineup right now.
The only things holding Walker back are the Titans’ need for him to block, and Marcus Mariota’s inconsistency as a passer, whether that’s because of poor throws or attrocious blocking in front of him.
Walker had two consecutive cracks at a touchdown in the second half, but one of the passes was tipped, and the other was underthrown by Mariota.
Even with all that, Walker still produced solid numbers, and his outlook will only get better once the Titans offensive line gets to full strength. As is the case with Henry, Walker is a must-start every week and a top-notch option at his position.
