Find ways to make Jurrell Casey a factor

Man this is hard because every time I think about criticizing Jurrell Casey or his play he comes out and makes me look stupid in the next game. However, I have tried to give this topic as much slack as I could but someone has to say something.

There are so many times where Casey is just on the ground or standing straight up and not getting any push. Knowing Casey’s talent, I would instinctively blame that on coaching but then I look and see Daquan Jones and Isaiah Mack making plays and doing well.

I truly don’t know what happened, but right now Jurrell Casey isn’t playing at the Pro Bowl level that we have seen for most of his career.

This mini-bye the defense really only needs to focus on one thing, get Jurrell Casey to be a factor. Right now the biggest difference between the Titans and every single team in the NFL is this:

-Other teams are bullying the Titans G/C/G combination

-The Titans are getting no interior rush and letting QBs run wherever they want

I never thought that after Week 3 that I would have seen more big plays at DT from a rookie UDFA and a guy that struggled mightily last year, than I have from Casey but here we are.

This has to get fixed and I don’t know if it is a schematic thing, a health thing or what, but it is like if the Titans put Corey Davis at running back. I know there is talent there but it just isn’t coming out.
