Tennessee Titans rookie right guard Nate Davis will be inactive for his third straight game to start the season.

After being inactive for the first two games of the 2019 NFL season, Tennessee Titans rookie right guard Nate Davis will have to wait at least one more week to make his NFL debut.

Davis dealt with an injury during training camp and missed significant practice time. As a result, the 2019 third-round pick fell behind and hasn’t been able to suit up quite yet.

Here’s a full list of the Titans and Jaguars inactives.

We were hopeful that Davis would play after seeing him warming up before the game, but that unfortunately didn’t come to fruition.

Linebacker Wesley Woodyard popped up on the injury report during the week with a quad issue and did not practice. The veteran hasn’t played much this season with Jayon Brown and Rashaan Evans in front of him.

Of course, right guard Kevin Pamphile will be inactive, which is nothing new or surprising. Pamphile injured his left knee in practice leading up to Week 1 and looked to have had a surgical procedure on it. No timetable has been given for his return yet.

Outside linebacker Reggie Gilbert will be making his Titans debut.

Gilbert was acquired from the Green Bay Packers in exchange for a seventh-round pick before the season. He was recovering from a knee injury at the time, and while he was expected to be ready by Week 2 at the latest, it took a bit longer than that.

After doing so last week, the Titans appear to be going with two running backs in Week 3. David Fluellen will be inactive for the second straight week and seems to be a regular on the injury report this season.

Derrick Henry and Dion Lewis split snaps evenly in Week 2.
