Titans vs. Jaguars preview: Civil war over Marcus Mariota, Jalen Ramsey’s farewell
The Tennessee Titans will hit the road to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in a Week 3 divisional showdown.
For the second straight week, the Tennessee Titans will face a divisional opponent, as they travel to Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars on Thursday Night Football.
The Jaguars (0-2) had their own divisional game in Week 2 against the Houston Texans. The Jags lost in the last 30 seconds after head coach Doug Marrone went for the win with a two-point conversion that ultimately failed, leading to his team falling just short of its first win.
The Titans (1-1) had high expectations going into the Week 2 tilt with the Indianapolis Colts, but those high hopes were dashed when the Colts went into Nashville and grabbed a victory. As a result, it left Titans fans wondering if this is the same old Titans they have seen in recent years.
The good news for the Titans here is that they have dominated the Jags over the last few years. Tennessee has won the last four meetings with Jacksonville, and the last six of seven overall.
