Touchdowns: Derrick Henry

I had to talk about Henry some in this article and since I obviously said I wasn’t going to include rush yards, it only made sense for him to fit in here.

The Titans offense should be run through Derrick Henry tonight. There is just something about getting him the ball vs the Jaguars that works. Being in his home state does him good and he is going to have a shot for another big game tonight.

We have already seen that the plan inside the five is to run Henry if possible and if not it is to get all eyes on Henry for a play action pass. At the very least we know he is going to be on the field in the redzone.

I’m not suggesting that Henry will rip off another 99-yarder or anything, but we have seen plenty of long runs by Henry in his career and with the offense mad about losing a game where they just couldn’t close it out, I imagine that a mad Henry and a fired up offensive line will try to take their frustrations out on the Jacksonville defense.
