Witnessing the end of an era?

When you step back and look at all these moves and storylines as a whole, you get the feeling that we are looking at the end of an era this week.

These are the players who could be off the team next year:

-Jalen Ramsey

-Yannick Ngakoue (wants to be paid and the Jaguars have negative cap space)

-Calais Campbell (will be 34 next year)

-Leonard Fournette

-Marcell Dareus

I mean, the entire front-7 except Myles Jack could be changed from the end of 2018 to the start of 2020. On top of that, the Jaguars are dangerously close to losing their identity as a team that wins with a running back and great defense with the name value of Leonard Fournette potentially walking out the door.

If the Jaguars don’t start winning soon then it looks like there could be a shake up from Tom Coughlin down to Doug Marrone. That could mean that guys like Nick Foles and Myles Jack who just got huge contracts, could be viewed as “bad fits” for whatever new coach comes in.

By the next time the Titans see the Jaguars, the team could be completely different and it could be run by an interim HC in a completely different way.

Maybe they follow the Arizona Cardinals model and go full Air Raid or maybe they don’t, but either way this could be the last team that the Titans face the Jags as we know them.
