Future Tennessee Titans CB and longtime (For the) Boy (s) Jalen Ramsey

If we are talking the biggest change from this year to last year, Jalen Ramsey no longer seems like a building block for the Jaguars, but an asset to be moved.

The biggest thing about today’s game and the storyline you will hear more than anything else is the Jalen Ramsey situation.

What I mean by that is that Ramsey has asked to be traded and the Tennessee Titans have been linked as a potential trade destination.

Now, I wrote about this a little bit when the news came out and I described what a move like that could do for the Tennessee Titans and is it worth it.

As for how it pertains to the game tonight, I wonder what Jalen Ramsey will do. After coming to the conclusion that he and the Jaguars should separate, is he going to be the one diving into the pile to stop Derrick Henry? Should he risk an injury for a team that he isn’t committed to long term?

It is Week 3 and a loss for the Jaguars would be bad, but people wouldn’t blame Ramsey for the whole lost season if he went out there and only gave it 90%.

On the other hand, he could try to show out knowing that all other 31 GMs have nothing else to watch tonight and he is trying to prove his value to another team.

If I had to give Ramsey advice I would tell him not to play at all. If he goes out there and gets hurt he is stuck on a team that is not committed to him long term and the fans are already going to be partially turned against him knowing that he doesn’t want to be there.

Is going out there any playing going to change anything about your career up to this point? No, so what benefit is there if a move is expected soon?
