Taylor Lewan vs Yannick Ngakoue

One of the more fascinating battles that we have gotten to see over the past few years is the Tennessee Titans offensive line vs the Jacksonville Jaguars defensive line.

Calais Campbell, Josh Allen and Marcell Dareus are big names but the real star on that line is you EDGE Yannick Ngakoue.

He and Taylor Lewan have had some great battles over the years and those battles have ended up with Lewan on top. However, against the rest of the league he gives teams fits with 29.5 sacks over his 3 year career.

Obviously we won’t get to see that tonight with Lewan suspended, but even if we did there is a chance that it wouldn’t live up to the hype since Ngakoue is battling a hamstring injury.

These two should have a chance to meet on good terms later in the season, but for now we are going to have to see an Ngakoue who could re-injure himself at any time against Dennis Kelly. Which doesn’t quite have the same ring to it.
