Tennessee Titans offense: Derrick Henry, RB

Here is a fun game, do you know what a full 16-game season of Derrick Henry would look like if he got to play against the Jacksonville Jaguars every week?

256 rushes, 1,620 yards, 16 TDs

That is an All-Pro year, but do you know what kind of season he would have if he played a 16 game season like he played them in their last matchup?

272 rushes, 3,808 yards, 64 TDs

That is the best way I can describe both the long term effectiveness Henry has had against the Jaguars for his entire career and the absolutely historic dominance that he had against them in their December matchup.

Henry has been inconsistent throughout his career, but give the man credit where credit is due because he has become much better about that and never had a problem showing what he is made of against the Jaguars.

You can say that Marcus Mariota lost the game Sunday (and you can be wrong) but taking Derrick Henry out late in the game when he was absolutely tearing up the Colts defense and had them crying uncle, was a massive factor.

I expect that some combination of Jon Robinson, Mike Vrabel and Arthur Smith have discussed this and that we will see a healthy dose of Henry and play action passes Thursday night.
