The Tennessee Titans have much to improve before Thursday night’s matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars, but there are three things that should be on the forefront.

Last week, I highlighted that the Tennessee Titans needed to make three major improvements to ensure a win against the Colts: Marcus Mariota’s accuracy, offensive line performance, and stopping big plays.

The Titans struggled on all three fronts on Sunday, which cost them a close game against the Indianapolis Colts at home.

The offensive line gave up another four sacks with Mariota facing constant pressure throughout the game. As such, Mariota struggled to hit his receivers again, finishing with a pedestrian 93.5 QB rating.

On the other side of the field, the Titans defense played very well the entire game. The Titans limited the Colts offense for the most part, however, gave up two big plays that cost them the game. The most painful being a 55-yard rush to backup running back Jordan Wilkins late in the fourth quarter that led to the game-winning Colts touchdown.

While the Titans will have to definitely improve on these areas, the Titans coaching staff should focus on the following three tasks to lock down a win against the division rival Jacksonville Jaguars.
