Winner: Logan Ryan, CB

Logan Ryan is just so good.

He never gets the credit he deserves, but so far for the season he has 2 INTs and 1.5 sacks along with several pass break ups and things that don’t get recognized like run fits and good coverage that doesn’t get challenged.

He and Kevin Byard seem like All-Pros and stand outs on a great group of DBs.

Even though people are ready to say that Jacoby Brissett outplayed Marcus Mariota because he threw a shovel pass and made some solid throws against zone coverage with no pressure, the truth is that when he challenged the likes of Logan Ryan and Malcolm Butler he was shut down.

If not for a bad 3rd down DPI on Malcolm Butler that extended a drive that should have been a punt, into a TD, the Titans not only would have won but we would all be talking about the job that the Titans DBs had done shutting teams down in back to back weeks for 13 points or less.

Still, holding Brissett to 146 yards is worth noting and much of the yards that Ryan gave up came from zone coverage where he was just the first responder to the tackle.
