The Tennessee Titans have released their inactives list for Week 2 against the Indianapolis Colts.
Tennessee Titans right guard Kevin Pamphile leads the list of inactives for the team going into the Week 2 game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Here’s the full list of inactives.
Here are the Colts’ inactives, also.
Inactives Notes
Pamphile and Gilbert are no surprises; both were listed as OUT on Friday.
The Titans right guard didn’t practice all week after missing the regular season opener in Cleveland. He was also spotted with a knee brace in the Titans’ locker room during the week, which indicates he had some form of surgical procedure on his injured left knee.
We have yet to be given a timetable for his return.
Outside linebacker Reggie Gilbert was expected to be back by Week 2 at the latest as he recovers from a knee injury, but he will not suit up on Sunday. He was acquired from the Green Bay Packers for a seventh-round pick prior to the start of the season.
Rookie right guard Nate Davis is still trying to catch up after missing a lot of practice time with an undisclosed injury. Davis is healthy, but the Titans obviously feel he is not ready to take the field quite yet.
One surprise on this list is defensive lineman Brent Urban, as he was not listed on the team’s injury report this week. It appears Urban has lost his spot for now after seeing just 11 snaps in Week 1, and fellow defensive lineman Matt Dickerson will be active for the first time this season.
Running back David Fluellen has been dealing with a hamstring injury and was a limited participant on Friday, so he will not play on Sunday. After running back Dalyn Dawkins was waived earlier this week, the Titans will roll with two backs.
Center Ben Jones (illness) and linebacker David Long (groin) were both late additions to the team’s injury report. Both will play.
