29. New York Giants (0-2)

Things just keep getting worse for the New York Giants, who have now fallen to 0-2 after two bad defensive performances against the Dallas Cowboys and Buffalo Bills to start the season.

In what should have been a winnable game for the Giants, Big Blue fell behind 21-7 to the Bills in the first half and were never able to recover. Eli Manning threw two interceptions and the offense was only able to muster up 14 points on a day in which Saquon Barkley totaled 136 yards on 21 touches. At least Pat Shurmur finally realized he needs to get Barkley the ball more.

Still, it didn’t matter. This young Giants secondary — and the defense overall — simply isn’t good enough to help the G-Men win games when the offense isn’t up to snuff. With this loss, the calls for rookie quarterback Daniel Jones will only grow louder and more persistent, despite the fact that this isn’t all Manning’s fault.

Week 3 brings another winnable game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on the road. The Giants need to rebound quick from their 0-2 start or else it could be another lost season for Manning and Co.
