3. Los Angeles Rams (2-0)

For the second straight week, the Los Angeles Rams got off to a slow start offensively, but thanks to an injury to Drew Brees, LA was able to bide their time and eventually take control of the game.

With a 6-6 tie in the third quarter, the Rams offense flipped the switch and put up two touchdowns to take a 20-6 lead. After the Saints answered with a field goal to start the fourth quarter, Jared Goff connected with Cooper Kupp on a 67-yard play that set the Rams up for a touchdown that iced the game for Los Angeles.

While the win is obviously good news, Goff didn’t look so hot in this one and Todd Gurley averaged less than four yards per carry. After two weeks, the Rams offense doesn’t look nearly as explosive as it did last season, but the Rams have been able to weather the storm en route to a 2-0 start.

Up next for LA is a showdown with the Cleveland Browns in what could be a high-scoring affair. Both teams have plenty of weapons to go around, and the Rams will hope that stud defensive tackle Aaron Donald is 100 percent after he left and later returned to Sunday’s game with a back injury.
