NFL power rankings Week 3: Titans fall back to earth after loss to Colts
4. Dallas Cowboys (2-0)
Dak Prescott has opened up the 2019 season with two strong performances for the Dallas Cowboys, and he continues to try and show the organization why it needs to sign him to big money at some point.
Prescott totaled 269 yards and three touchdowns to one pick through the air, and added another 69 yards on the ground. The Cowboys also fed Ezekiel Elliot, who totaled 11 yards on the ground on 23 carries, and he added one score.
With a slim 21-14 lead over the Washington Redskins going into the fourth quarter, the Cowboys began to pull away. A field goal by Brett Maher and a two-yard touchdown run by Elliot gave the Cowboys a commanding 31-14 lead that was too much for the Redskins to overcome.
The Cowboys are off to a hot 2-0 start and have totaled 66 points in two games. If this offense can continue to score at this pace and the defense plays to the level we all expect, the Cowboys will be an elite team in 2019. Dallas gets the lowly Miami Dolphins in Week 3 in what should be an easy with for Jerry Jones and the boys.
