14. Indianapolis Colts (1-1)
The Indianapolis Colts’ domination of the Tennessee Titans continues after Jacoby Brissett and Co. walked into Nashville and walked out with a huge win. It wasn’t pretty for either team, but it was a win for Indy nonetheless.
The Colts were in a bad way in the fourth quarter with the Titans driving, however the Colts were able to get a stop and take over.
The biggest play of the game for the Colts came on a Jordan Wilkins 55-yard run that set Indy up for what would become the game-winning touchdown. To complicate things, kicker Adam Vinatieri missed his second extra point of the game after that score and the Colts were clinging to a 19-17 lead.
The Titans had one more shot to take the lead with just over one minute left, but were unable to get the ball into field goal range, and instead suffered a turnover on downs. It was a great stop for a Colts defense that played extremely well all afternoon.
The Colts will be riding high going into their Week 3 matchup with the Atlanta Falcons. Despite losing Andrew Luck, the Colts are tied atop the AFC South with both the Titans and Houston Texans after two weeks.
