16. Chicago Bears (1-1)

Mitch Trubisky’s third season in the NFL is not off to a good start. After a shaky Week 1 performance in a loss to the Green Bay Packers, Trubisky followed that up with a 120 yards through the air and a 59.3 completion rate.

And, despite the Bears not getting much support on the ground outside of a 46-yard run from Cordarrelle Patterson, Chicago was able to overcome their offensive woes en route to its first win of the season.

After blowing a 13-3 lead over the Broncos in the fourth quarter, the Bears found themselves down by one with 31 seconds left on the clock. In miraculous fashion, not only did the Bears drive themselves down the field in time to get into field goal range, kicker Eddy Pineiro was able to break the Chicago kicker curse and nailed a 53-yard field goal as time expired.

Man, did the Bears need that. With what could have been a disastrous loss and an 0-2 start, the Bears were able to overcome adversity and sneak out of Denver with a win. The Bears get a road game next Monday night against the Washington Redskins in Week 3.
