Cleveland Browns left tackle Greg Robinson is facing just a fine for kicking Tennessee Titans safety Kenny Vaccaro in the head.

While he’s lucky he wasn’t suspended, Cleveland Browns left tackle Greg Robinson will be facing a fine for kicking Tennessee Titans safety Kenny Vaccaro in the head.

Robinson was ejected for his kick to Vaccaro’s head in the Browns’ Week 1 loss to the Titans. The left tackle was thrown out of the game for his dangerous stunt, and will only get a slap on the wrist for it.

Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com was told by Robinson that his fine will be about $10,000, which he plans on appealing.

I’m not really sure what leg Robinson has to stand on in an appeal, as his dirty kick was caught on camera. In reality, he should just be happy he isn’t getting suspended and won’t be missing at least one game.

After the game, Vaccaro was all class in his reaction to Robinson getting ejected, and the Titans safety even said he felt bad for him, according to Erik Bacharach of The Tennesseean.

"“We hit each other. I knocked him over and he kicked me in my head. I thought it was funny. It’s going to be a hefty fine, I feel bad for him. I didn’t want him to get ejected. We were taught on this team, no dumb penalties. The second guy is always the one to get caught. I didn’t really start anything, but at the same time if you respond you are going to get caught and that’s when you get a penalty.”"

Maybe Browns head coach Freddie Kitchens needs to spend a little more time teaching his players what Titans head coach Mike Vrabel preaches.

Robinson isn’t the only Browns player facing a fine for his actions last Sunday.

Defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson is facing an even heftier fine of $20,000 for roughing the passer. He also plans to appeal, per Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal.

The Browns just had a rough day all around last Sunday, and it was clear the Titans were very much under their skin.

Not only did the team commit 18 penalties en route to getting blown out 43-13, but a Browns fan who doused Titans players with beer also put a stain on that Week 1 embarrassment in Cleveland.
