Derrick Henry’s legendary 99-yard touchdown run for the Tennessee Titans made it on the “NFL 100 Greatest Plays” list.

On Friday night, NFL Network aired the “NFL 100 Greatest Plays” list from No.’s 100 to 31, and Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry made the cut.

Coming in at No. 89 was Henry’s 99-yard touchdown run, which came in Week 14 of last season against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

I never get tired of watching that play.

Not only did Henry tie the mark for the longest rushing touchdown in NFL history, he also steamrolled nearly an entire Jaguars defense in the process. It was truly the definition of individual effort, as he needed minimal help from his teammates.

Henry finished that contest with 238 yards and four touchdowns, as the Titans dominated the Jaguars in a winning effort. It was the first game of a sensational four-game stretch that saw Henry total 585 yards and seven touchdowns en route to his first 1,000-yard season.

During the Summer, Henry was also nominated for an ESPY award for Best Play and was one of the finalists, but he ended up losing out to UCLA gymnast Katelyn Ohashi.

Henry’s run is now not only one of the greatest plays in Titans history, but one of the greatest plays in NFL history. Quite the honor for the big back, who has been rolling ever since and had a ton of hype coming into 2019.

The Alabama product started off the season strong and showed his big play ability once again in Week 1. Henry compiled 159 total yards, including a 75-yard touchdown catch on a screen pass that accounted for one of his two scores.

NFL Network will air the final 30 plays on Friday, September 20th, starting at 7 p.m. CDT. We haven’t seen the “Music City Miracle” make an appearance on the list yet, but we’d assume its near the top.
