Tennessee Titans defense: Cameron Wake, EDGE

I hate to go chalk, but can Wake have another big week in the Tennessee Titans home opener?

Last week he went against one of the bottom-5 or so right tackles in the NFL and beat him (with help) for 2.5 sacks and a forced fumble that didn’t get called because everyone was so excited about the safety that they missed Baker almost coughing the ball up.

All in all, Chris Hubbard was only credited with allowing 2 pressures and 2 sacks. This week Cameron Wake and Harold Landry will take turns lining up against Braden Smith who allowed 3 pressures and 1 sack.

That basically is the same level of bad pass protection and Smith quietly allowed 4 sacks and 38 pressures last season which accounted for nearly a third of the sacks on Andrew Luck.

With a weak link in the offensive line pretty clearly identified, Smith has to be worried about Wake making his life miserable on Sunday when the home crowd should be loud and angry.

The veteran played less than 25 snaps on Sunday and should be well rested and confident headed into their matchup in Week 2, could this be another very productive week for Cameron Wake?
