51. . . Previous: 3rd. Los Angeles Rams. 4. team

The Rams are getting a little bit of a boost here because of what they have done in the past. I know as the team that beat the Titans in the Super Bowl, I should hate them but I dare you to hate Sean McVay unless you are a fan of a team inside the NFC West.

Dante Fowler looked outstanding for them in their game against the Carolina Panthers in Week 1, which takes their biggest weakness and turns it into somewhat of a strength.

Even if Todd Gurley isn’t healthy or is never the same as he was two years ago, he is still a great rotational back and if you have a head coach smart enough to make Jared Goff look good then he can scheme around a banged up running back.

Is there any doubt that the Rams will have a top-5 offense and a defense that scares opposing teams with with guys like Aaron Donald, Fowler, Marcus Peters, Eric Weddle, and Aqib Talib. No? Then unless they lose a game it is going to be really hard to separate them from the elite tier.
