. Previous: 26th. Indianapolis Colts. 20. team. 46.

The Colts were so close to getting their trap game win, but ultimately they fell just short.

Justin Houston was a solid offseason addition, but with Devin Funchess now hurt and the rest of the receivers and tight ends regressing a little bit the Colts lacked that same pop that they have always had.

Jacoby Brissett was fine like always, but he wasn’t a leader or a game changer in any way. T.Y. Hilton and Marlon Mack had really nice games, but with the options limited going forward the Colts are just becoming easier and easier to defend.

Without consistent playmakers on defense, you have to be concerned with what will happen when you face a team like the Tennessee Titans next week. Unlike the Chargers, the Titans aren’t missing their starting LBs and their star safety.

Going on the road in back to back weeks is going to be tough and if the Colts come out of it the other side at 0-2 they don’t have Andrew Luck to pull them back out.
