Week 8: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Remember when it was actually a question whether or not Marcus Mariota was better than Jameis Winston? The Bucs fans would talk about how Winston won more games even though he was on a better team, only to turn around and say that wins aren’t indicative of QB success the next year?

Well, by any measure I think you have to look at Jameis Winston as a QB significantly worse than Mariota and as a player who has gotten way too many chances from a team desperate to make a local hero a success story.

Last week he was sacked 3 times, fumbled 2 times, threw 3 interceptions, and 2 of those interceptions were pick-sixes.

I mean…how can it get much worse?

Aside from the QB position, the Bucs have a leaky offensive line that really hurts that offense. Their saving grace may be Mike Evans and Chris Godwin who would be very popular on any other team in the NFL.

Defensively they have Ndamukong Suh, Lavonte David and that is about it.

I think this roster is one of the worst in the NFL, but they do have the talent at the right positions to surprise a team like the Titans if they aren’t careful.
