Week 7: Los Angeles Chargers

So, I don’t really know if the Chargers are a good team or not.

First of all, I should say that losing Derwin James could have a major effect on how good that defense is because they don’t really have their jack of all trades in the defensive backfield.

Joey Bosa and Melvin Ingram are great, but the Chargers defensive backs and linebacker really didn’t look great on Sunday and they got to do that at home. Now, I am not saying that there is a homefield advantage in L.A. because their isn’t, but what I am saying is that they are going to have to travel to Nashville this year.

With Melvin Gordon likely to miss this game and with Phillip Rivers not looking great to start the season, I would be concerned if I was a Chargers fan.

Now, could I be re-reading this after Week 6 and thinking about how great Bosa and Ingram look and how dangerous the 1-2 combination of Keenan Allen and Hunter Henry is? Maybe. But looking at them right now with the context of an offensive line that just let their aging QB get sacked 4 times at home, I have to say that there are some questionable players and positions on that roster that the Titans could take advantage of.
