Play action is the best

I will stand by it, I think the majority of passes in the NFL need to be run off of play action. If you have an offensive line that knows what they are doing and a running back who can block as well as he can run then they give you a huge chance to attack the spacing of the defense.

Mike Vrabel seemed to agree and really talked about how good those plays can be if the receivers do their jobs and if the running back can block.

Henry especially earned high marks from the coach on this because Vrabel cited him peeling back and blocking pass rushers to give Mariota enough time on some big plays.

Arthur Smith’s first game play calling went better than any game Matt LaFleur has had in his career and it was great to see his scheme work so well and do such a good job on the little things.

Freezing an overactive front seven or putting them in the wrong place because they got overexcited just made it impossible for the Browns to really stop the Titans offense in the second half.

I would expect that we continue to see a lot of play action from this coaching staff and that the Titans free room up for both Marcus Mariota and Derrick Henry by doing so.
