Offensive line update

A month ago, Tennessee Titans fans expected the starting line to look like this:

LT: Taylor Lewan

LG: Rodger Saffold

C: Ben Jones

RG: Nate Davis/Kevin Pamphile

RT: Dennis Kelly/Jack Conklin

Obviously only three of those players ended up starting in the same position and during that time Taylor Lewan was lost to suspension.

So, to expect that the OL would struggle was an understatement based on the names on the other side of the ball. However, for the most part they all held up and Mike Vrabel had some specific praise to point out:

Sure, Conklin was great and…wait, Douglas too?

Um alright, I mean I wouldn’t get carried away coach. I really didn’t think Douglas had a good day, but Vrabel isn’t really the type to blow smoke so maybe I will re-watch it again.

I would be keeping an eye on any potential free agent visits the Titans may have, but if Tennessee willingly goes into a division game with Douglas as the starter at RG I feel like that would be a roll of the dice.
