Winner: A.J. Brown, WR

Corey Davis is still the WR1 on this team even though he garnered a bunch of extra attention and didn’t ultimately factor into the Titans offense that much today. However, A.J. Brown looked a lot more like a WR1.5 than a WR2.

With 3 receptions and 100 yards, it is no wonder why everyone is so excited by what they saw today. The thing is, it wasn’t like one huge catch and run and two small plays, Brown had two catches for 40+ yards each.

He was explosive in his route running and explosive when he had the ball in his hands. I mean, this is still the funniest/most disrespectful thing I saw all day:

People were understandably nervous when he missed a week or more of training camp, but after today you have to be much more confident about what he can do in the NFL. It is a long season and no one is winning rookie of the year in September, but man that is just so great to see for a team that has never really had a rookie WR go off like that so early.
