Loser: Every backup defensive lineman

Maybe this isn’t really fair, but the title gives you the gist of what I want to say. Austin Johnson and Brent Urban were non-factors and Kamalei Correa plays EDGE but also looked like a player who the Titans should have been able to get more from.

Isaiah Mack had a few nice reps, but really if the front line (DL + EDGE) got any pressure it was coming from Cameron Wake, Harold Landry or Sharif Finch. Even Jurrell Casey didn’t really show up in the second half of the game on first glance.

Daquan Jones had a nice game, but ultimately if your NT/1-techs are the players having the best games on the DL then you are going to be in trouble.

I am sure some of this was scheme and some of this was to confuse Baker Mayfield in some capacity, I don’t doubt Dean Pees as a DC the man is a genius. What I am saying is that you can’t tell me that against the Browns backup iOLs, you don’t expect/want more from those guys I mentioned above.

It further emphasizes why I think Jeffery Simmons could be the missing piece on this defense whenever he returns.
