Tennessee Titans fans need to understand this is a possibility.

Right now the Tennessee Titans are in a strange situation.

After making the foolish decision to cut Corey Levin in favor of bad players, the Titans now stand on the precipice of the regular season with an offensive line in flux.

Dennis Kelly and Jack Conklin both missed a practice each this week but ultimately look ready for Sunday’s matchup against the Cleveland Browns after taking part in the important Thursday practice.

However, one piece of the Titans offensive line popped up on the injury report: Kevin Pamphile.

If Pamphile misses the Cleveland Browns game (which is a possibility, but not a certainty by any means) the good news is that RG is the weakest position on the offensive line for the Titans so going from Pamphile to the next man up isn’t a big drop off.

So with the surprise cut of Corey Levin, the other bodies on the offensive line and no preseason snaps, why do I think that rookie Nate Davis is actually in a good position to start his first NFL game on Sunday if Pamphile is out? Let’s start at the top.
