Defensive line/EDGE

1. Jacksonville Jaguars

Yannick Ngakoue, Calais Campbell and Josh Allen have the potential to be one of the most productive trio of pass rushers in the NFL. Campbell seems to deft age and Ngakoue is right there with Joey Bosa as one of the best young EDGEs in the NFL today.

2. Houston Texans

-I am giving A LOT of credit here. Watt had a great year last year, but he is 30 years old and has lower body and back injuries that have cost him seasons in two of the last three years. Their other starting EDGEs and DLs combined for a whopping 7 sacks last year: Angelo Blackson (1), D.J. Reader (2), Brennan Scarlett (0), and Whitney Mercilus (4).

If Watt is anything less than spectacular that front line is going to be bad.

3. Tennessee Titans

-Calais Campbell and J.J. Watt are the top DL on this list, but Jurrell Casey isn’t far behind. Cameron Wake and Harold Landry have the potential to be a 15+ sack pairing at EDGE if they just preform at the level they did last year. Meanwhile Daquan Jones has improved and Jeffery Simmons has a chance to be truly great.

4. Indianapolis Colts

Jabaal Sheard is dealing with an injury and Justin Houston has to feel like he got tricked into signing the deal he did to join the Colts after the Andrew Luck retirement. Denico Autry and Margus Hunt had career years last year but a regression to the mean is very possible for both. Either way there is a great chance that that defense takes a step back after out preforming their talent last year.
