Tennessee Titans: Delanie Walker destroys Browns fan on Twitter
A Cleveland Browns fan talked trash about Tennessee Titans tight end Delanie Walker on Twitter, and Walker wasted no time firing right back.
A trash-talking Cleveland Browns fan got destroyed on Twitter after Tennessee Titans tight end Delanie Walker responded to a tweet in which the fan called him “a little bitch.”
The Browns fans’ tweet was in response to Walker’s comments on the hype surrounding the Browns this season. The veteran tight end also mentioned how the Titans are always under the radar, according to Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com.
"“That’s the NFL,’’ Walker told reporters after practice on Monday. “They like to pick the team they assume is going to be Super Bowl champs because they’ve got guys on that team that I guess they can turn a whole organization around, just two or three guys — but hey that’s how it goes. I like that they get the hype. You’ve just got to go in there and play football, you know what I mean?’’“The Tennessee Titans have always been under the radar. What’s new?’’ said Walker. “So I expect them to talk about Cleveland Browns, Cleveland this, Cleveland that, we’re going to go in there and play football. As a group, we’ve just got to handle the noise and play our game.”"
Walker has always been outspoken, but these quotes are pretty tame compared to some others we’ve seen.
Still, the quotes were enough to get a Browns fan all riled up to the point where he called Walker “a little bitch.”
Walker then proceeded to roast him.
We’d really like to see this keyboard tough guy say this to Walker’s face, but of course he wouldn’t. The 6-foot-2, 248-pound Walker would snap him like a pencil.
The Browns have no shortage of hype coming into this season with a young, up-and-coming defense, and an offense loaded with talent that now includes Odell Beckham Jr. after he was acquired in a trade with the New York Giants during the offseason.
After years and years of futility, the Browns have serious expectations. But those expectations should be tempered because as we all know, what looks good on paper doesn’t always translate to the field.
Despite people overlooking the Titans at every turn, Tennessee will be a tough test for this new-look Browns squad. Quarterback Baker Mayfield will get all he can handle from a Titans defense that was the No. 3 scoring unit in 2018.
